Israel like the US commits war crimes. Unlike the US, its government does not consider torture a necessary part of interrogation. In fact, it is prohibited. Each time an error is made Israel is at the center stage of an international court. They are held to a higher standard than any country in the world. They are well aware of this. The US is much less vigilant.

To all US tax payers. Israel receives about 3 Bln dollars in aid each year from the US taxpayer. Over your working life this equates to 25,000 dollars for every Israeli. Instead of funding Israeli State terrorism this money could have been spent on a universal health service for you and your family. Google this information on ifamericans knew org or Google the words US aid to Israel. It is your tax dollars. Tell your congress and senate how you want it spent.

There has never been a land known as Palestine governed by Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Iraqis, etc.

The July 2009 report confirms Israel committed multiple war crimes. Only Israel used people including children as human shields and to inspect sites suspected of being booby trapped. Women and children posing no threat were shot at close range by the IDF as they were fleeing their homes. Hamas shelling of Israel was a war crime which killed 3 Israeli civilians. Israel killed more than 900 civilians including 300 children and 115 women.

By 1948, the Arabs had still not yet discovered their ancient nation of Falastin. When they were offered half of Palestine west of the Jordan River for a state, the offer was violently rejected. Six Arab states launched a war of annihilation against the nascent State of Israel. Their purpose was not to establish an independent Falastin. Their aim was to partition western Palestine amongst themselves.

Google Fact. The BBC World Service has conducted an annual global opinion poll since 2005. In 2008 it interviewed over 17,000 individuals across 34 countries including Israel. Iran was the most negatively viewed country globally with a 54% negative rating. It was followed by Israel with a 52% negative rating. This poll was conducted prior to recent events in Gaza. Israel needs to change course on its treatment of Palestinians if it is to change world opinion.
